Smartphone battery Dilemma

When you are with your smartphone you keep on doing something or other. Be it chatting, video calling, checking your mail or enjoying Whatsapp. All these, cumulatively eats away your smartphone battery and eventually you end up searching for wall socket and charger. But, there are definite ways by which you can use your smartphone cleverly and preserve the battery to its maximum usage.

Make them off

#1: Keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi off

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi are to be kept off. Wi-Fi eats a lot of battery and hence it is to be made on only when you have the Wi-Fi source and you can connect to it. If you keep it on always, your smartphone keep on searching a valid source and use battery unnecessarily. You don’t need a GPS unless you need a high precision location tracking. Contrary to popular belief, your location can be tracked using Wi-Fi and/or mobile signal fairly accurately. Switching off Wi-Fi is easy…just go to setting and Wireless Settings and make Wi-Fi off

#2: Make Animation off

Switch off all the animation pertaining to all Apps. You have to sacrifice the style but you surely gain on battery life. You may activate the Developer Options menu by going to Settings/About Tablet and tapping the Build Version 7 times. It should tell you that you’ve now activated the Developer Options menu. When you activated that go to Settings-Developer Options-Drawings and switch off all the animations or reduce their scale substantially

#3: Mobile data

When you are really short of battery juice, the first thing you should do is to switch off the Mobile Data. Your Internet will not be available but you should be able to use your primal function with the phone: to send and receive calls.
