You wouldn’t want to miss this first look of Huawei Mate 8

The CES 2016 showcases amazing technologies that are yet to enter our lives. In this series, Huawei unveiled its smartphone Mate 8 at the famous tech carnival. The 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at €600 (approximately Rs 43,000), while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant will sell at €700 (approximately Rs 50,000).

Specifications: A 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display covered with a 2.5 D curved diamond-cut glass. Powered by the Kirin 950 chipset, boosting its CPU power by 100 percent, GPU power by 125 percent, and power efficiency by 70 percent also features 4x A72 2.3GHz processors and 4x A53 1.8GHz processors respectively. The internals include octa-core Kirin 950 SoC with 3GB/4GB of RAM along with internal storage options of 32, 64 and 128GB (4GB for the last two options).

Software: Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s EMUI 4.0 OS.

Camera: The phone boasts of a Sony made IMX298 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front one.

It has a dual SIM card slot on the left side and an audio jack at the top. There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery.
