Polycystic Ovary Syndrome commonly known as PCOS is the most common gynae problem for women. A lot of women suffer from this problem and the thing is, this problem has its accompaniments and does not just work alone. So managing PCOS is very important for the overall health of any woman. This can affect any woman. Sonam Kapoor, the Bollywood actor has been struggling with PCOS since the age of 15 years and says it is the dietary changes that can help manage this condition. 1 Sonam always prefers to have Coconut yogurt with berries and paleo granola. This is her go-to breakfast.

2 She completely avoided refined sugars and dairy products.

3 Sonam always ate freshly produced local foods that are natural. She revealed: “Usually my food intake consists of everything natural, fresh and local. Wherever I am, I make sure I indulge in the produce that is locally and freshly available in the market.

4 In between meals, whenever she felt low on energy, she sipped on spearmint or green tea along with a bowl of greens.

5 In order to take care of her protein intake, she preferred a cup of mocha smoothie with vegan protein.

6 She made sure that her plate was always colourful – having all the necessary vitamins, minerals and anti inflammatory raw fruits and vegetables as salads or mixes or stir fried.

7 Along with proper diet, Sonam made sure that she had some kind of physical activity daily to keep her fit. Be it walking, jogging, dancing or any other moderate intensity exercises.
