Samnatha Ruth Prabhu is a big name in the South India Film Industry and now she is a well known face pan India, thanks to her stint as ‘Raji’ in the hit OTT series ‘Family Man’ . Samantha is known not just for her acting skills but her drop dead gorgeous looks and her super fit body. For those of you who are unaware, Samantha is vegan and attributes her gorgeous face and physique to her plant-based diet. In the span of a day, this is what she eats:

1 The first most important thing that she has in the mornings is her collagen shake. This includes ingredients like vegan collagen powder, leafy greens, frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, blueberries, flaxseeds and chia seeds.

2 Most people think that vegans do not get enough proteins. But this is not the case. Samantha eats tofu, chickpeas and rajma regularly in order to fulfill her protein needs.

3 Sam, as she is fondly called, loves to eat greens. She consumes green leafy vegetables twice a day. Once in the form of a salad and the other as a smoothie.

4 She drinks a wonder-drink daily – kombucha. This is a sweet and sour fizzy drink made via fermentation. This drink helps improve gut health and digestion.

5 Instead of normal butter, Samntha uses Matcha cashew butter for her toast, waffles and pancakes as a spread.

6 Samantha swears by Sauerkraut, a side dish prepared by fermenting cabbage. This dish is very beneficial for gut health and digestion.

7 Like any other South Indian, Samantha too loves her traditional chutneys. Her fridge is always stocked with home made chutneys and she eats these as an accompaniment with her various meals.

8 Sam always eats gluten free breads and to satiate her sweet tooth, she opts for vegan ice creams.
