Hacking is all around us only we tend to believe it when we fall prey to it. Before that everything is all rosy and secure for us. Yes there are security experts and law enforcing agencies when it comes to cyber-crime but the problem is- the hackers always seem to stay two steps ahead in terms of intelligence and modern tools. Just a few days back you must have come across the news piece that claims that certain brands of wireless keyboards are prone to hacking.

This type of hacking enables the hacker to spy on you in terms of what you are typing and sending. Now another new type of hacking has been revealed by the researchers which may make you even ore jittery while working on your computer; and it concerns the monitors of our computers.

A group of researchers from Rd Balloon Security discovered that it was possible to hack your monitors as well. This means that not only the hackers can see what is being displayed on your screen or what you are working on at a particular moment, but they can also manipulate what’s on your screen. The problem is that this hack isn’t limited to a particular brand, so the fact of the matter is that if you have a monitor, you are as vulnerable to hacking as any other person with a monitor.

The only thing that can put your mind to ease is the fact revealed by the researchers that this hack is slow. By slow, the researchers mean that it takes a while for images to load, so this means that if you are constantly looking at your monitor there is a huge possibility that you will able to tell that something suspicious is happening right there in front of your eyes. This may give you some time to recover and find a solution or even turn off the computer.
