A new technology developed by GE, lets us see our organs by adopting ultrasound technique. This technique is much like SONAR used by submarines, expect it is better. The previous traditional cardiac ultrasound machines, by beamforming, showed the doctors only slices of the organ, leaving it up to them to visualize the remaining parts of the organs.
The cSound software is sensitive to all the data being sent by the ultrasound and processes it efficiently to generate real-time 3D images of the organ. It also doesn’t use any radiations, and is thus safe to use for an unlimited amount of time, even on fetuses.

This cSound software might sound similar to the 4D ultrasounds currently being used in medical facilities, but is actually very distinguished, as it forms more enhanced images of the organ. For example, a fetus inside the womb, would want to be seen by the parents in colour, so as to give it a more human form. The doctor, on the other hand, are concerned with the internal tissue development and keeping an eye out for chromosomal abnormalities. The cSound, intelligently shows the fetus’ skin and tissues with appropriate shading, for the benefit of both the parties.
The images are amazingly detailed and would lead to a significant increase of ease and in precision during surgical procedures, and also in pinpointing internal sources of problem in the patient.
