We may love it or hate it, but, kids surely are way better than us so far as the brain games are concerned. What do you think is the cause? Are we getting rusty with our problem solving skill or kinds are being specially trained, these days, for problem solving? Or simply, they are having higher IQs?

Let us start with this simple game which was featured in National Geographic. It has been claimed that 80% of the kids below 10 years can answer this puzzle in just one look. There is a picture of a yellow bus having similar shape at the front and in the back. The question is simple; which way the bus is moving? Left or right?

To the left? Or to the right?

Let’s put on our thinking gears. Is it sounding too impossible to tell? Well, you need some clues, maybe? Here we go…….

There is a bird flying towards the right and it’s just above the bus…

And, also, the airplane… slowly moving towards the left.

And the answer is… well, we are sure that you will throw a wild guess and will not be ready to explain anything to support the answer!

Now, look at the kids solving the problem………..

Adults will not get it as they tend to think in a complicated way. They will overanalyse and overthink and will always argue siting complex things. One such common logic: what if the bus is moving in reverse gear? Actually, we are adults and we managed to forget the details of the layout of the school bus whereas, for the children, it is everyday affair and they, as if, can see the things in front of their eyes!

Well, that’s only a consolation. Just trying to make you feel better that you are not dumb after all!

In case you liked the puzzle, please forward it to your near and dear ones!
