Is Ranveer Singh depressed? His new year post sends a signal!
Ranveer Singh – a man with below average looks who excelled in the Hindi film industry on the basis of his sheer determination and impeccable acting range. At present, Ranveer does not need any introduction when it comes to Hindi Film Industry. With every film of his, he has proved his mettle and because of the versatility in his roles, he has been nicknamed the ‘chameleon’ by some of his fans and rightly so! The ease with which he slips into a character and becomes the character himself is sometimes unbelievable, but that’s what Ranveer does the best! He has an amazing body of work to prove that but now it seems he is going through a phase of self doubt.

This new year, when the whole world was celebrating , Ranveer dropped a message that hinted about his state of mind. This is no secret that his recently released film ‘Cirkus’ tanked badly at the box office. There were no takers for the film. And unfortunately for Ranveer, this was his third film in the year 2022, which did not do well. Earlier his film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ had also tanked at the box office and his film ’83’ also did not do as much business on OTT as everyone had wished or hoped for. After a string of failures, Ranveer posted a sad video from the film ‘Forrest Gump’ where Lieutenant Dan is shown sitting making a sad face on new year’s when everyone else around him (including Tom Hanks playing Forrest Gump) are celebrating and having a good time but Dan is sitting somber and sad. After sharing this video, Ranveer wrote the caption “I feel you Lieutenant Dan”.

Fans were quick to observe his depressed post and knew that the failure of the films has affected Ranveer and he has taken it to his heart. He has always been a very sensitive man and this post showed the sadness he is feeling because of his films not working well. But many fans were gracious enough to motivate him and make him feel that he is not alone and that they are with him. We too are with him because a superlative actor like him can never fail. He will surely make a comeback but with a bang!
