If Taare Zameen Par Made You Cry, Sitaare Zameen Par Will Make You Laugh : Aamir Khan
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced his new movie titled “Sitaare Zameen Par”. The movie is said to be similar to his 2007 film “Taare Zameen Par”, which was a critical and commercial success.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Khan revealed that the new film is “moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme” as “Taare Zameen Par”. He also said that the new film will be a comedy, while “Taare Zameen Par” was a drama.
“Taare Zameen Par” was about an eight-year-old dyslexic boy named Ishaan Awasthi. Khan played the role of Ram Shankar Nikumbh, Ishaan’s art teacher who helps him to overcome his learning difficulties.
The film was praised for its sensitive portrayal of dyslexia and for its message of hope and acceptance. It won the National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues and the Filmfare Award for Best Film.
The announcement of the new film has excited fans of Khan and of “Taare Zameen Par”. Many people are hoping that the new film will be as good as the original.
Talking about the film Aamir said : “I have not spoken about it publicly and I won’t be able to say much now also. But I can tell the title. The title of the film is Sitare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par and the name of this film is Sitare Zameen Par because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme. Taare Zameen Par was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry this one will entertain you.”
“But the theme is the same that’s why we kept this name very thoughtfully. We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special, so we are taking forward this theme but this time the character of the special child Ishaan in that film, my character helps that character in Taare Zameen Par, in Sitaare Zameen Par, those 9 boys, who have their own issues they help me. It’s the opposite.”
After the debacle of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Aamir had taken a break from acting to spend some time with his family but now it seems he is back and Aamir fans can not contain their excitement. Fan or no fan, we know Aamir will definitely bring something good to the audiences.
