These beds are invented by J Pack who is an intelligent paper manufacturer. These beds were first used for the survivors of Japan’s Tohuku earthquake, way back in 2011. After it was highly successful over there, they’re again being used for the displaced people of Kumamoto. They are shipped like flattened cardboard boxes but, once assembled, they are converted into nice beds.
