With the whopping response from the Reliance Jio Telecom, people have been anxious all this while waiting for Fiber to The Home (FTTH) service. Since last few days there have been rumours about Reliance Jio Broadband Network and DTH service. In a silent way, Jio has given a response to a Twitter enquiry about its FTTH service. According to the tweet, the preview FTTH service is expected to come up in six locations namely – Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat And Vadodara. The tweet talks about the speed of upto 100Mbps. It will be named as JioFiber, and soon the much-awaited preview will be out.

As reported in India Today, it is expected that consumers will not have to pay for first 3 months of service. But a refundable installation fee of Rs. 4500 will have to payed to avail JioFiber. A dual-band Wi-Fi routers will be included in JioFiber offer which will be “best for indoor coverage and connectivity with the Fiber Home Gateway”.
If the customer decides to opt out after the promotion period then company will refund the installation fee.
100 GB data per month is expected and once the data limit is reached, speed will reduce to 1 Mbps for unlimited data.
Complimentary 5GB cloud storage data will be given and many more complimentary Jio services will be given to JioFiber consumers.
Also, Router can be monitored and controlled remotely using a cloud link via phone app.
