Owning an iPhone 6
Technology Vista recently conducted a survey seeking opinion of people regarding owning an iPhone 6 device. The survey has been distributed through various social networking platform including Facebook, Twitter and Google plus. The target segment was a mix of common mass and technology lovers. The respondents are heavily distributed between the following countries:
- United States
- India
- United Kingdom
- Canada
- Australia
- Others

The opinions are very interesting. The following are the conclusions based on this:
- Owning an IPhone 6 is perceived to be expensive both in terms of facilities and value it brings to its owners. People, in general, are well informed these days and they know well about the competitions, other options and value propositions. The next two points are very relevant in this context. 44% of the respondents opted for this answer
- 24% of the respondents think that there are better phones available in the market. This notion may be perceived or respondents personally experienced these facts after using other phones
- 16% of the respondents think that even moderately priced phone like Moto-X brings more value for money than Apple iPhone
- This answer is very interesting. There are Apple fans who are willing to try new offerings from Apple without any hesitation. They are only 6%. It will be interesting to know how many of them are actually the existing Apple customers!!
- 4% says that they will wait for iPhone 7 rather than owning an iPhone 6 now. These respondents are seemingly fence sitters. We think that they can be safely added with the first set of respondents who think that it is too expensive
- Strangely, about 8% of the respondents are simply not sure about the value propositions, price or competition.
