Underwater Hotel, Dubai:
This is the first hotel, in the world to be submerged underwater. Many have a floor underwater, but not an entire hotel. Figure eight is the architectural design, laying on its side and is modeled after the physiology of human. The design of the hotel is the fascination of the designer, Hauser with water and sea.
Guinness Deep Sea Bar:
It is a submarine which gives ride of underwater to people. One can also get a wine and dine in this underwater bar. Its interior is designed for having fun or partying. This submarine was built by Jump Studio, London as part of Guinness’ 250th anniversary during 2009. In this submarine one can have eat food in its underwater restaurant.
Ithaa- Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa:
This resort was one of the first all-glass underwater establishments for dinning. It was opened in the year, 2005. It is the clear acrylic tube which was built in Singapore before it was transported to Maldives. It was then sunk below, sixteen feet, in the surface of Indian Ocean. It has got 180 degree ocean view. It can accommodate only fourteen people at a time.
Red Sea Star:
This restaurant is located sixteen feet beneath the Red Sea in Israel. One can view the ocean through massive Plexiglass windows. It is a unique experience to dine at this restaurant. The floor plan of the restaurant is shaped like a star. It can accommodate up to 150 people.
Poseidon Underwater Resort:
This resort has got over twenty guest suites and lounge. It is build over five thousand acre coral lagoon. It offers a 270 degree view of the ocean to its guests, through its thick acrylic windows. There is no need to worry about oxygen supply. The Poseidon has large tunnels that help maintain air pressure and give access from the surface.
Al Mahara:
This restaurant is situated in Dubai. It is a part of the seven-star hotel Bruj Al Arab. It gives one a feeling that he or she is underwater. It involves a fake submarine ride. It has got an under themed interior. It is one of the world’s fifty best restaurants.
