Transparent Calculator: Beauty with a brain
Some of the things in life money can’t buy and some of the beautiful things are too inexpensive for money to buy!! The cutie pie little transparent calculator that I am going to review today is one of those classic examples.
It caught my attention first time when I saw it in Technology Blog. Earlier I never paid attention on it that way. But when I saw that people are liking this thing like crazy I was amused. It started drawing my attention slowly and the more I saw it the more I fell in love with it. Ultimately, one fine morning, I placed the order for it in ahappydeal site. I did have a look at the same product at Amazon but I found out the price is almost double over there.
This cute transparent calculator is available in eight (8) different colors. The color of my choice was bright yellow as it resembles the color of sunlight and it is a solar calculator. It arrived in a moderate packet size of Package size (L x W x H): 8.8 x 12.4 x 1 cm. and the total packet weight is only 50gm.
The outer frame of this transparent calculator is colored and the inner portion is all plastic. I guess, it is some type of conductive polymer. The touch screen is sensitive enough and works very well. It is a basic calculator and you can perform basic arithmetic with it. I immediately found a good use of it when I discovered that while I use the calculator holding it in front of my eye I can still see the calculation sheet beneath.

While I praise this beauty through and through there are some little blemish as well. . It does have tiny little bubbles. The transparent plastic could have been of crystal clear plastic at a cost. People will not mind to pay a bit more.
I personally would love to see clear LCD display. The current display is not transparent.
The calculator works flawlessly but needs a strong light source.
Having said all those, I really cannot blame this little beauty when I consider the cost. Frankly, I personally would love to see a slightly higher price for this unique piece. It’s your desk ornament and reflects your style and taste. It’s a perfect case of visitor’s envy and owner’s pride.
