Civilized men being aware of the vow ‘thou shall not kill’ never failed to harbor a secret or sometimes openly expressed liking for the deadly guns and firearms. Ever since the invention of guns it went through centuries of development and improvement to offer many of the most sophisticated guns in human history. Obviously few of these guns enjoyed a continuous and almost unquenched property in every decade ever since they came into existence. Popularity does not always correspond to quality make, technical excellence and advanced functional aspects, but obviously one of these factors at least played a role at a given time to make the gun popular. We are going to introduce some of them as the most coveted guns in history.
Colt M1911
For close to a century it has been the most used pistol by security men and police personnel worldwide. Colt M1911 is one of the first-generation pistols that is championed for its technical brilliance, accuracy and compactness. When it came .38 caliber cartridges were used as this was the established convention, but with Colt M1911 a new .45 caliber cartridges began to be used and in that sense it brought a complete shift to the pistol technology and use. Until very recently it has been the standard military and police sidearm in US and many other nations.

This gun took the imagination of the youngsters possibly because of its wide-ranging graphic depiction in movies and video games. UZI is a truly advanced lethal weapon with great firing rate. The gun is used by the military and armed forces of nearly 100 nations and has become one of the iconic gun models of an entire generation of fighters. Being developed in 1951 until now it came up with two other variations of the model and in so-called digital games and videos as well as in real warfare UZI has always been a regular feature.
