While these Apps gives you an overall taste of Google Chrome Apps, if you are heavy user of Google Chrome you need somewhat different set of Apps which works as true substitute of your desktop Applications. The idea is to work on those Apps predominantly online. When, you are offline, you work on them as usual but as soon as connection is back they get synchronized with online contents.

For charting/ making diagrams there are various Apps available in chrome. My personal favorite is LucidChart Diagramfor Chrome. This works both online and offline. You start easy and as you use this more and more, you fall into the subscription zone. You have ready-made templates/ icons, modules etc. to cater to your need. And almost everything you can think of is in-built in that.
Google Docs: This is the replacement of yours traditional MS Word.Add artichokes to a shared shopping list, or put the finishing touches on your business plan from the lobby before the meeting, right from your mobile device Google Docs has got all the facilities. You can save the final products in any form (Doc, Open Office Document, PDF etc.).
That’s not all, you can even comment or get it commented by your friends wither partially or on individual elements.
Evernote: It’s predominantly a note takeing application. Be it a text or voice or video or picture note evernote will readily help you to do that. These notes are placed in easily searchable cloud space (as well as in your devices and they are well synchronised. Over the years Evernote has gone beyond note taking and extended its service to record keeping and organizing, online data sharing and clipping business. It provides you with the basic online data storage facility which is free in basic form. If you want to use it heavily you need to opt for premium service. It is a must have in today’s scenario
Google Sheets: Forget about MS Excel. GoogleSheets is more than just columns and rows. Track your fitness regime, carry out fancy financial calculations with your team, or record your fantasy league stats. Create it in a group, and share spreadsheets effortlessly. You can publish them publicly, or keep them private. Powerful processing is in-built with provision of inserting Complex formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and much more.
Access anywhere and anytime. All your spreadsheets are automatically saved and stored in Google Drive. Access them wherever you go, from any device. Plus, you can open and edit other spreadsheets without any special software.
Fusion tables: This is an effort towards making a database which is multi-dimensional as well as accommodate various numerial and non-numerical data. The idea is to take the data out of so-called flat databases and sensitize the same with real world data/ information so that you can interpret them in a meaningful way. Though, this is an experimental effort by Google it has a great potential to become really wonderful one.It has everything you need to bring out an awesome presentation, interestingly, you’ll never have to hit “save” again. The most important feature is to carry out collaborative activities with rich animations, seamless transitions, great templates and much more. You can make your comments (either private or public) on overall presentation or on particular element of the presentation. A great productivity tool.
Google Slide: Well. this is a strong challenger of you know what...MS Powerpoint.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Remote computer can be made accessible in short to long term basis. It also allows to establish ad-hoc connections. All connections are fully secured.
